thanx btcat, it's mainly going to be stock, but there will be some after market stuff on it. i'm definitely going w/the same futaba S3156 servo's that i have on my blue ray. as far as other parts go, i'm still debating on those, but i'm definately going w/CNC stuff for sure

Most guys don't choose a blade build, so this will be interesting. Where are you getting the parts from?
I bought a used blade that had all the cnc and hop ups. It flew very well.
Happy landings

all the parts are coming from my man jeremy he owns the hobby town in kennewick,WA. and micro heli. my good friend own a blade 400 w/all the cnc hop ups on it to, and he lets me hover it. i gotta say it really is one smoooth heli, and besides he gave me the frame so i figured what the he!!, and decided to make a build out of it ;D
i did get some parts in for it, but i'm going to wait till they all get here. it looks like the micro heli stuff will be here friday. then i can start on it.
it kind of exciteting stating one from scratch

Similar to how I got my Blade; a Hobby Town connection. Some of the hop up kits on line are cheaper, but we need to support our LHS to some extent or there going to go away.
Happy landings

Happy landings i see where your coming from 19000, and i do shop there quite a bit. the deference is that jeremy gave me some screamin deals on this stuff and free shipping. he's really wanting to keep me as a customer, but my local guy could really care less, and i've spent alot of money in there over the years. even before helis. so i do my part for my LHS ;D

Good for you fergie. I go out of my way to buy local from the "good guys". Unfortunately all of them aren't so good and that's part of the reason they're going away.
Happy landings

and here's how it sits so far i should have a complete heli (minus electronics) in couple of weeks ;D i'm going to order the same micro heli tail assembly next. and all other do dads. motor mount, and the mount for the tail gear assemblyand boom supports, fins. i got the hard part done, i think ;D so far this bird is shaping up to be one smooooth heli. the tolerances on this micro heli stuff, very tight but very smooth it was definately worth the extra $$s

That's looking GREAT Fergie!!!! I have never seen a Blade apart before. It sure is a different design. Cool! It sure looks like you have some really nice upgrade parts, too.
Best, Kent
