so it's been crapy raining ALL day long. and here it is the end of the day,the sun pops out, not a breath of wind. plenty of daylight to fly. just to find out that your to drunk to fly?  man this sucks. anybody else ever have that problem? ohh well, still got the MCX ;D |

Not me, ferg. ;D The rain part, yeah. I live on the wet coast. All my extra cash goes into helis and parts, so there's nada left for imbibing.  And I killed my Lama yesterday, so there's nothing left for inside flying. |

I usually reallize I'm too drunk to fly by beating my heli off the ground.lol....
I'm working on teaching myself to leave the TX alone while drinking.
I wonder if I could get one of those doo-hickies the courts put in cars for convicted drunk drivers.You know,the breathalizer thing that interupts the ignition.Put one in my TX ;D ;D ;D

Not i , cause i dont drink anymore been sober since Jan 1 of 2008  last drink was New Years Eve at midnight on Dec 31, 2007 not because i was in AA or anything, just cause i desided it was not worth it lol |

Not i , cause i dont drink anymore been sober since Jan 1 of 2008 last drink was New Years Eve at midnight on Dec 31, 2007 not because i was in AA or anything, just cause i desided it was not worth it lol good for you coffin, i have been trying to quit smoking off and on, no luck on that |

You've got more self control than I do Coffin! Problem is beer tastes too good!! Never caused me any problems except when I tried to fly my heli the other day after Mai Tais...not good....well the drinks were at least ;D

Mai Tai is a rum based drink. I got hammered on them at my wedding reception and hadn't had them since then. It was s nice day on Saturday and me and the wife decided it was time to Hawaii up the backyard and have a few. Pretty good really, but I am usually a beer man most of the time too MC, just added a little diversity. Also had a couple long island ice teas before my wedding ceremony to calm the nerves, love those things too. ;D

I tried to liquour it up not too long ago. I got a liter of Absolute Black and an 8 pack of NOS Energy drinks. I drank it all  I was all cranked up on NOS but so drunk I could hardly stand.lol... The next day I had my daughter keep 911 on speed dial.I honestly thought I had finally killed myself with booze. I had most of a 12 pack of Bud Light on top of the Rocket fuel ;D |

Well MC, that would about do it for alcohol poisoning. I almost did the same when I was 16 with Rum, not one of my greatest moments but we learn from these experiences. I was sick for 2 days straight and I couldn't touch rum for a few years after. Actually I didn't really drink at all until I was 20 after that, rowing kept me busy with all the competitions. Now I know my limit, but still go well over it occasionally |
