I'm back ;D Bet ya'll thought you'd gotten rid of me  Well, no such luck. Hod to go out and play for four weeks with some very interresting company. Got back, hadn't flown a heli in that period of time, so........I have batteries, and helis. Went out and hovered for awhile without incident, Koooooool. Then Sat morn week ago, my Gall bladder decieded to go off like a bomb and almost took my pancrious with it. 4 days in intensive care, then they removed the affected component (Bladder). Did a re-weight and balance for the component removal and was released to go fly Thursday evening. ;D Anyway, you'll be hearing from me again as I think all is taken care of at this point and I can settle back into flying and board talk. Welcome back, Dave.
We were wondering what had happened to you. Glad to hear you're out of danger and all's well (I hope) physically.
How's the Swift doing? Last we heard it was under major repair.

There was this blinding bright lite from the heavens, then there were these little green and purple humanoids scrambling about  next thing I know, I'm being beamed aboard the Cardassian Mother Ship and..........heck, helicopters are definitly more fun ;D Mac, Sol, White, and of course Fergie. The names of but a few I've missed reading and learning from. Thanks guy's. I no fly for two months....Time to play catch up. I've got a pic to post of what the Swift now resembles, and the Belt is very operational. The poor other little Walkera has been is basically still in limbo. |

Mac, thats my Swift 16 RTF in 620 drag. The fiberglass canopy needed little mod to fit just perfect. And it's a heck of alot more sturdy than the "milk carton plastic" that plagues the RTF version. I've also updated the servos with Hyperion Digitals and put an A701 gyro. The stock ESC and motor are by Century and do the job intended. Plus the esc is quite programable along with the servo's. The only other addition is a new A123 lipo (because the original expanded to three times it's size) and I am getting ready to go with the JR radio, reciever and control unit as soon as I get the checks in from my little vacation. Oh yes......a set of 525 Align Professional CF rotor blades. I was extremely surprised at the noticeable difference these rotor blade made of the flyability of my Belt CP. Incredible So the Swift is gona get them. |

525 Pros are da bomb ;D They have a wood core.I've seen it  Very smooth blades. |
