Fly rigs are great for all kinds of fish, not just trout. Really good for bass on heavily fished waters. Gives them something they haven't seen a thousand times.

Those two are decent keepers, ferg Dp you have some decent lakes in your area, or are they pretty well fished out like around here?

yeah a really good day mc ;D.
tony... you got that right i was using a top water popper that i tied myself ;D yes i tie my own stuff i don't buy flies, just material.
sol... the kicker is, i released them. i know. but they were in spawn mode so i threw them back. it's all about presentation sol,so when you think a lake is fished out.... sometimes you can nail fish when others aren't. besides you being in BC. i would think you would have better fishing than me ;D
beedm... LOL, it's about a minute away from my house ;D ;D.

Dam, Fergie. Those are some nice fish. I never got the hang of fly fishing. I used to fish for trout with a spinning reel. I could cast with a flyrod all day long in my yard. Seemed I only caught my ear when I was in the river.
Now get back to the old grind, flying, crashing, fixing, flying.....
