i have not fished in years use to love catfishing, talk about a good thing to fry up. and up here where i live we got bass, trout, catfish, walleye just gota know the hidden holes to hit Catfish is about the only freshwater fish that I actually keep from time to time (luvs me some fresh fried catfish), everything else is catch and release.

whats sad is i live by the columbia river and dont fish alot lol.... im about 10 min from it in a couple directions and many boat launches within 30 mins of me on the river .... for those in oregon and idaho you have heard of the Gorge in George im 5 miles from it LOL the banner up top is for fly fishing flys lol....

more like 50 lb kings and 15 lb reds and i use a fly rod also. more fun !

I love some fly fishing. Even though I have only been a handful of times with my dad, I have probably tied hundreds of flies. Thats a fun hobby to try if you haven't given it a try. And it doesn't cost $50 to land your wooly bugger in a tree. ;D

And it doesn't cost $50 to land your wooly bugger in a tree. ;D very true fire, it's a cool hobby for sure. i remember first starting to learn to fly fish, on the back cast starting to go forward. then SNAP, the fly explodes LOL, i don't know how many flies i went through while i was learning. but i gotten over that now ;D

and to think i used to free climb stuff like that (no silver bullet though). i quit when i got married and had kids, didn't want the kids to grow up w/out a daddy. ;D

last time i was in the area you could take jet boat trips up there I didnt get to do it but from what i understand its a kick in the pants by the way gorgeous pics love them

thanx alot phill, and yep they still do the jet boat tours, and it is totally awesome you can get to places not accesable by road ;D
