the only one i've used out of that list is 3DMARK06, i like it because it's more CPU & GPU intensive. yet another reason i like crysis, it has a built in bench mark in it for CPU & GPU. world in conflict has a good bench mark also. i've use 3Dmark vantage also but it's more for graphix & physix it's pretty cool though. i'll have to check out the others in your list. you'll have to post up some scores when you get it up and going. so you're going to turn around and sell it?

I haven't tried the other benchs yet, but from what I see...they give usable real time results. Yes, there are people that each year in Albuquerque and Santa Fe get together and have a kinda a mod lan party and some neat stuff comes out of the wood work. Last year I went but didn't bring a "home built" This year I'm definitly putting a "home Built" on the platform. Benchmark numbers will be for advertisment, and I'm noy sure what enclosure it will be in. Also I'm gona probably have to look at either Dry Ice or Nitrogen cool system. Definitly not going w/water cooling. Probably nitrogen is the most logical.

I've got to second the aquarium build. If you have to water proof everything electrical, than why not have real fish and plants, coloured rocks, and flourescent the HD, other components? ?

LOL you dont water proof anything, they use oil instead of water, veggie oil or mineral as they dont conduct electricity.

There is one that has his submerged in water....all components are encapsulated for easy upgrade, and the well for the water cooling is the PC itself. A lot of work. W/just distilled water....not totally as efficient as anti-freeze of some alchohol based water additives. Definitly not that colorful either. Lab water has been used....but nothing fish can survive in. One dude modded his pc with a rock type waterfall on the big side/ uses for his resevoir.

seems like hes not helpin by water proofing it then submerging it, as the case for the parts is holding in heat and not disapating it as quickly as air cooling would. id like to run a test on that system and see if its actually running cooler my bet is that its actually running hotter then normal as there is no ventalation for the air being moved and heated inside the containers.
