Hey BT, I was wondering how you like the 5065 on the tail? Is it stable enough? It sure looks like it in the video. Best, Kent I like the 5065. I haven't had the first problem with it and now that I have a few things worked out with the gyro, the tail is very steady. I trimmed it out this evening where I could do hands free for a few seconds. After about 2 or 3 seconds, it started drifting away and to the left, but the tail was very solid. And, I might add, it is very responsive when I want it to be.

Wow BT that looks awsome! Looks like it flies fantastic. Really a great job on the build. All these 450 and 500 builds are starting to make me want to build one :0 Not sure my wife would like that idea though.....

I'm also using the carbon tail servo rod... the metal one was just too flimsy. I'm very happy with it.

I think I have broken and replaced almost every other part besides my CF rod and my electronics since this original build. Mine is officially a hybrid now. Welcome to the board, BTW

I bought a couple of new cheopo canopies from the devil the other day. I'll have to paint a few more.

Screaming Eagles is also the name of the U.S. Army's 101 Airborne Division. My dad was one of them back in Vietnam.

Yeah 19k he was. He never did talk about the war very much, always said he prefered to keep those memories in the past. About all I know is that he was a medic and it was because of this that he got wounded. He said it was his own fault. One of the guys yelled for the medic and he poped up to see where the guy was and next thing he knew he was on the ground. That pretty much is the only story he ever told us about his experiences.
