To all of you who have served in our armed forces, from all of us who didn’t, I extend a heart-felt “Thank You!” I have the deepest respect for our military and the things they have accomplished over our history without regard for, and often in spite of, political views and opinions. We all stand united under one flag and we all owe our freedom to people such as you.
To all of you who have lost friends and loved ones to war, our nation salutes their memory and heralds them as heroes who gave their lives to protect our freedom. On this day and everyday, we say “Thank You!”

As a vet I appreciate the recognition and as a citizen I would like to thank all our vets and every Soldier,Airman,Sailor and Marine currently defending this country both at home and abroad ;D And I can't forget our fallen heroes as they are reason for this day of remembrance

ITs always awsome to hear the thanks from people. as we hear it rarely. It was my pleasure to serve, and a duty i felt i had and i regret none of it ever.
But the greatest way to say thank you, is fly an american flag every day at your home. and to show your support put a Yellow ribbon on the biggest tree in your yard ....
From me to those serving, all my prayers are with you and your familys so that you may come home safe to them all.

Back in the 60's and 70's there was so much discontent and controversy as far as the US was concerned with it's military. Vietnam was a very "sad" time in our history as we saw many deserving Vets come back to total anti-military sentiment. BT, you and the rest of the American people have done so much to support our troops and just say thanks....a big difference it has made. Kinda makes ya proud to serve. It is just totally awesome being around true Americans and Vets alike and being able to say "Thanks to all who have served and are still serving".
I am able to get on the internet and say this stuff Thanks to the efforts of all: the troops and the American Family that supports them. Dave Bee

And it's about time, way past time, we (govt. and civilian organizations) start treating returning troops like we really appreciate their service. Give them the support and assistance they need to get back on track in their civilian and domestic military lives.
Happy landings

The hardships that veterans went through during the war's and after will never be fully understood or appreciated like it should be, the stories they tell and the atrocities they witnessed affect us all but you can't imagine what it has done to them thanks to all veterans... Ray
