Got my new motor and esc. here are some pics..... Look at the size difference Installed Didnt know where else to put the esc......

Nice pics. The stock ESC from Walkera is crap as you can see that the Exceed Volcano 30 AMP ESC is larger and should be able to distribute the heat better.
Did the brushless motor come with a pinion and mounting screws?

Nothing wrong with that spot for the ESC, IMO. Should be out of harms way, unless you really collapse the skids. ;D
Looks like there was room on top of the frame base, except the motor might have been a bit tight to get in and out.
Now, just to get the motor sorted...
