My desktop PC is stuck on the DELL screen. With the F2=Setup and F12=Boot Menu at the top right.
Neither key does anything though.
What do I do?

Speaking of BIOS, Dell usually posts the version on the boot screen. Even if it starts behaving, it is worth writing down and checking the Dell site for updates. I believe you can enter the number on your computer tag and it will tell you the setup and the latest bios number. It might even offer an update search feature. Been a couple of years since I owned a Dell

Sounds like coffin was right. You probably have "boot from CD" as the first item in your bios boot list. The computer was confused as there was no boot record on the game CD. Just took a while to right itself.

if you know how to get into the bios go in and change it to boot from your harddrive then cd. always best to do that unless you need to reinstall then change the boot to cd first. saves on issues like above lol. i knew exactly what happened when he said it sat there then said cd..
