My Heli Hate List

I have several things that have made it to my Heli Hate list. That is the list of things I hate when I am attempting to fly. So far here is what I have:

1. Mesquitos: I have to wonder if I can swat without crashing and then for two or three days I have to wonder if I can scratch without crashing.
2. Sweat in the eyes. Enough said.
3. Sun and glare (Ain't that right Kent ;D)
4. Fire Ants. Dam things are everywhere in Texas. I spend a lot of time either actually trying to get away from them or wondering if I have a shoe full of them waiting to bite. That queen must be a real /bitch/ with hyper-PMS because all her workers come out mean and ready to fight.
5. People wanting to talk. Especially the pretty ones. The little devil in my head gets distracted and forgets to fly. I want a t-shirt that reads something like this: YES, its a nice heli. YES, its fun to fly. YES, I built it. He// NO! You can't fly it!
6. Gnats: Do those things actually serve a purpose in nature? (Contributied by Mightyxxshitey)

All those annoying insects are only in Texas so we don't have to deal with them elsewhere. ;D

There are some good oderless repelants out there guys; lather up and feel the...nothing.

Which head are you talking about BC; the big one or the little one? Oh, I think I know.

hey BT, for the sun and glare, get a pair of nice polerized sun glasses. they cut the glare right out.
i bought mine for fishing, but i wear them ALL the time. i can damn near look straight at the sun. your heli comes in crystal clear ;D

I've got some pretty great polarized sunglasses, fairly expensive brands from supposedly good manufacturers, they work great for fishing and day to day use, but I don't wear them flying because they affect my depth perception. The landscape seems to flatten out. I just keep my back to the sun to avoid squinting. Am I the only one that has this problem?

i could bought a rtf 450 heli for the price i paid for mine. but no 19000, i don't have the depth perception problem, hmm weird

Hey Fergie, I have some polarized sunglasses and I really like them. I haven't noticed it affecting my depth perception. I have trouble with that anyway. 19k it is called being ooooolllllldddd. Seriously, I might try it without them and see if I do better.

Yep, I guess it's just being old that I'm dealing with. It's funny though; my distance vision is terrific it's just the depth perception thing. No cure for being old.

My t shirt should say. "WARNING, I'm old. I startle easily. So, don't sneak up on me and try to start a conversation! I may fall over or drop my transmitter and my heli or plane may then crash into your inconsiderate head. You will die."

That was a bit wordy. How about, "F_-_K OFF. I'm busy FLYING." ;D
