Yep, I guess it's just being old that I'm dealing with. It's funny though; my distance vision is terrific it's just the depth perception thing. No cure for being old. My t shirt should say. "WARNING, I'm old. I startle easily. So, don't sneak up on me and try to start a conversation! I may fall over or drop my transmitter and my heli or plane may then crash into your inconsiderate head. You will die." That was a bit wordy. How about, "F_-_K OFF. I'm busy FLYING." ;D Happy landings that would make a good t shirt to..... short and straight to the point ;D

hey BT, as for the sweat in the eyes, you could do the richard simmons head band LOL ;D Noooooo! I just don't have the hair, the high pitched voice or the floppy wrist to pull that one off ;D ;D ;D I'll stick to a cap. I'll go buy some bug spray and I will endure the fire ants. They don't care how much spray you put on. BTW, I tried flying with and without the sunglasses today. 19k, it may be psychosomatic, but I think my depth perception was worse with them on. But they do make that heli stand out crystal clear.

Maybe I should shoot my Maui Jim's. No kidding, these things cost about $165 bucks, were rated like #2 or 3 in quality including polarization, so the quality problem must be my eyes. That's not too surprising. Happy landings

oh hell just get oakleys, not only do they provide good eye protectoin from brass flying off a machine gun, but they also provide a cool look, and if you get the M frames (they may have changed the name since last time i bought a pair) they are so light youll walk into buildings and forget you got them on untill you hit a shadow and cant see a dam thing.
