Pulled the trigger today on a Trex 600 ESP kit. Also got the Lightning Power anti-puff 5000mAh 6S 25C for a test. Also ordered the Triton AC/DC EQ charger/balancer. Going up to Chilicothe Saturday to pay for my electronics. JR 8717 servos for cyclic. JR 770 3D gyro with JR 8900 servo for the tail. This stuff is expensive This build may take a couple weeks or more but the heli will be a BEAST to say the least ;D Also going with Scorpion power and ESC with built in switching BEC. I'll have a 650L and 100amp ESC and BEC for sale soon.lol...

I guess I am a creature of habit.lol.... Was watching some hovering vids of my 500 and some 3D stuff too. Then it hit me.... Why change a good thing? I just ordered Align DS610's for the head and a GP750 and DS620 for the tail. My Align stuff has always been good to me

After you build the 600 and get bored with it why don't you build the heli chair and hook it up to the 600? Just thinking a head. ;D
Happy landings

That idea has been in the works for quite some time now. I have already talked to fab shops and everything

What scorp motor and ESC you getting Ernie?? For sure the Scorpion Commander V2 110amp ESC and probably the 4025 brushless. I'm reading a bit more on Neu motors first though. Elk,did you order the aluminum tail blade grips separately or were they in the kit? I ordered them because the pix show plastic or some composite tail blade grips.

Yea,,,,good move,,,,I bought the cnc tail grips,,,the plastics are my spares. I also bought the cnc frame tray, battery mount and gyro mount,,,,way worth it. And you should get the Booya canopy mount with thumb screws,,,that is nice!! I bet you already ordered the SS screw kit.
I assume you are thinking of the HK 4025-1100 with the 15T pinion you are looking at 2450 rpm,,,is that enough for you? A 16T pinion would get over 2600.
You are really gonna like building this,,,it is pure fun to work on. I bet it will take you just a couple days to finish it,,,you know what you are doing and it is pretty easy.
Enjoy!!

I'm shooting for around 2100 RPM on the head actually. Yeah,I ordered tail grips for a Trex 600 Nitro.Got them today actually ;D It's funny. They are about 3/16 of an inch bigger than the main rotor head on my 450.lol... Nice looking set.I think they are the same as yours. Been a long time since my table was this clear but I should start getting a steady flow of stuff all week so it'll change soon ;D
