Ernie,,,gotta question;
What do you figure is the difference between the standard front torque tube gears and the 'grey' ones that they sell for nitros? You think the grey ones might be stronger? Or just a different material due to gas and fumes? If the grey ones are stronger,,,I'd opt to put them in my heli instead of these weak ones.

I just secured a Neu Motors 1910.1Y 1050kv ;D I'll have a blade bender one way or another. I don't know how this motor could be considered gay, but I think it certainly could be considered Not Neu. Maybe an Ole Motor? Model 1910 gives it away. The .1 must be a timestamp of being built sometime in late January, 1910. 1050kv is reasonable. In 1910, they did have voltage available. Maybe these were used in early power plants, or were Wright brothers early power?

I don't know but I've wondered myself.Last night as a matter of fact while I was letting my finger quiver over the buy it now button for a Trex 600N Super Pro.That is the first time I noticed the different color. Worth looking into for sure.Although,I haven't broken those gears in months ;D

I opted for the Zippy flightmax 6S 5000 25C,,,it is about 5mm shorter(148mm is right at the limit of what will fit under my canopy,,,the zippy is 143mm) and the zippy is 66g lighter. Same price and I'll have to wait,,,but I like zippys.
Next time you are at hobbycity,,,,,check out their TIG 600mm Carbon Fiber Z-Weave Blades,,,under $50 and I read some post at helifreak,,,they seem pretty nice for 3D. I already ordered another set,,,but I'll try these next!

The Turnigy is 139mm in length and my Lightning Power is 151mm.The canopy fits over both.
The Turnigy is peppier too ;D It also came down ALOT cooler than the Lightning Power.
Figures now that I have two main packs,I forgot the TX on and now it's dead.lol...

Wow.Just got another flight in with the Turnigy and I'm just sick about the money I spent on the Lightning Power.
Noticing the difference in these two makes me think I need to go back to Outrage and FAST!!!
