I have noticed that we have been talking alot lately about diffrent products. Be it a brand of TX or a Servo ect. I was wondering should we have a review section dedicated to products since we have one for dealers?
If we do what id recomend is everytime a item is reviewed, that it is designed as a never ending poll. with like, disliked, not sure as the options.
My reason behind this is if your on ebay and notice a item your unsure about you can pop over here get a review of the item ( if its in there ) to help you make a desion on your bid, especially if you catch it near the end of the items bidding.
Not sure if you all like the idea. But i know it would help me out on quick questions about items i been looking at, at least on the reliablity of a item that has been used by others.
I know at some point i will be building a nice 6ch heli, and when it comes time to buy specific parts IE servos ect it would be nice to have a good spot to see what others think incase i find a auction ending in a hour and i know i probably wont have more then one reply before it ends.

Sounds like a good idea to me. I don't have a LHS or club to go to for any hands on with new products I'm sure I'm not the only one so a review on what others have used in the past with good results is all I have to go by.

We basically setup the "Guides and Information" section for this type of scenario. Any information on a product, good or bad, can be posted there. Informative thread titles will help others find it readily and if the OP wants a poll in his/her thread...go for it.

i guess i should have clarified that we should have a sub-board in there to make it easier to track things down.

I don't think a "products" sub board would be such a bad idea.

the bottom line here is lets not destroy a product because we do not like it - lets be fair when we rate a product - every product has its +/- side ;D = VIC

true lowbudget, but we have to remember id rather someone cuss out a product they dont like then be kind to it. we are talking about items that will cost in eccess of 100 bucks at times. a good example is a TX that you think rocks when you buy it only to have it p;iss you off so bad that you have to rant about it. but at the same time thats where others can add to it, and why i would reconemed doing every post as a Poll. with 3 options.
1. BUy it
2. Dont buy it
3. Questionable 50/50
This way if i dont have time to read everything in the case of a auction i can if i want go off the poll results. we will have to rely totally on the honor system that only those who have used such a product will vote.
