Sorry about the extra crappy quality. Tried zooming in for a better look and it back fired At least it sounds cool ;D About halfway thru I flew around a bit inverted and you can hear the blades dig rolling back out

Looks and sounds great Ernie. I flew twice this morning. Windy as he!!,,,,,,winds about 25 mph with HUGE gusts. I can't believe how easy the 600 bucks the wind. Makes 3D real tough and not too pretty,,,,,but I haven't seen a wind yet that I'm not affraid to fly in.
Do some inverted power-climbs. I did an inverted hover and brought it down to about 10 feet and goosed it,,,,OMG,,,what a rush. When the wind calms down,,,maybe tomorrow,, I'm going to put on the CY Radix Blades,,,they are about 4 mm wider than the Align blades,,,,,should be a very noticeable difference.
You tail looks really solid,,,I may have to upgrade my gyro,,,,,or work on the setup a little more,,,,it's not holding the cross winds like I'd hoped. Then again,,,I'm not sure any gyro could hold these gusts up here right now!
Nice flying,,,,I can hang with ya so far!! Bust a couple tic-tocs and I'll cry uncle!! ;D

That was the first thing I tried in the video.Got all sloppy and too flat inverted. It's blurry but if you watch closely you can tell what I meant to do. I do'm all the time now but they are always a little sloppy looking and no two are ever the same.STILL NEED MORE POWER!!!!! lol....

I did tighten the spring on my Tx rudder stick,,,it helps a LOT. Now that I can 'feel' rudder neutral, I can cycle thru negative and hold the tail better. I'll give the tic-tocs a stab,,but only after this wind dies down. I feel more comfortable on the sim doing elevator tic-tocs,,,forward and back(nose up & down),,,,those will be the first I try.
What I really want to do,,,,take off,,,hold a hover for about 10 seconds at 5 feet,,,,,flip it on it's back and climb-out inverted!! WoooHoooo!! ;D
I'll get there!!

I did it,,,,busted out the tic-tocs. I did a few aileron and a few elevator. Not too bad. I think Ernie has me out-electroniced, from his video, I think his 600 is a bit quicker than mine. He is using Align servos on his cyclic and I'm using spektrum ds821s,,,I can see the difference. We are both using the stock 650L motor at 100%. I just don't seem to have the roll-rate and pitch speed that Ernie has. Could be me,,,and it's hard to tell from the video,,,thats just the felling I have right now, mine seemed slow.
I couldn't bring myself to do a nose-down elevator tic-toc,,,,LOL,,,,next time.
But you DO need a lot of room when you first try these,,,,I banged about 3 tic-tocs in a row before I lost it,,,I gave myself plenty of room to recover!! My timing will get better and I should be able to tighten them up,,,,,,but I DID hold altitude pretty well.
FUN STUFF!!

Not once in any of my videos have I given the right stick(cyclic)more than a 20 or 25% push.lol.... I have dead banged it a few times and it rolls over faster than I can get negative pitch. It's all the way over before my left hand even reacts ;D

Hey Earn, how much cyclic are you running on your 600?
Do you remember how much you ran on the 500? I can't seem to get the roll rate either that you used to with yours with side flips (aileron flips?). Yours were very smooth and very fast. Mine are slow and herky jerky. Yes, I am using negative. Not a huge amount, but enough to keep it from dropping a lot. Kent

Kent I had my 500 set up with 10.5 degrees of pitch +/- and I used about 65% on the throttle to start and then about 40% when the heli is at 90*(flat on it's side).Hold that negative until it comes all the way around to on its other side. Then back to 65% or 70%. I used about 75% of the right stick throughout. I use even less cyclic on the 600.I know I mentioned 25% but it's more like 55% or so. The 600 has 12.5 degrees of pitch +/-
