I had planned on a really fast build but as it turns out,it'll be a little slow.Can't find my motivation.lol... OK,the reason for buying the EXI was the bench test brain fart with the HK450.Remember? The flybar wrapped all the way around the rotor head and sheared off the mixing arms....  See the saw teeth in the flybar paddle? Those are from smacking off the gyro a few dozen times. It was an Align RCE550.It was destroyed.Split completely in two. Sorry no pic.Already threw it away. This is the tail servo still on the boom.It shows the level of violence going on in the gyro area...  See the metal gears in the 5065 servo? You probably shouldn't.lol... Welp,I'll get started on the EXI right now. More to follow.... |

Installed the Hitec servos,Alpha 400 brushless(thanks Kent),Mystery gyro(thanks Elk),Align DS420 tail servo and Spektrum 6100e RX.    I used a 2mm allen wrench and some heat to curl my wiring to shorten it up a little.We'll see if it works later.When you put current through a copper coil you make a magnet.I hope there's no interference.I've seen it done before by Walkera. Hmmm,maybe that's why they have electronic issues.lol... We'll see ;D |

The stock Align looks bigger.But it is in a cast aluminum case so the actual motor is much smaller tucked away inside. The Scorp is ALLLLL motor ;D  This 650L is for sale by the way.Any takers? |

Actually,,,I'm waiting on your input with the scorpion motors,,,,I'd like to that route in the future,,,,but if mine goes and I can't make up my mind,,,I'll check back with you about that motor.
Good looking heli,,,,you sure can't beat the price!! Whats the canopy look like?
