Just ordered my EXI 450. Used the money from selling all my other helis.......Its the carbon edition with free case. It comes with CF frame, all metal head and tail. Fiber glass blades. Its the best deal I could find. $149. shipped.....It said the metal head and tail are upgraded with trex parts. Dont know how true it is. This is gonna be my slow 450 build.... I only have a motor....
I used a free shipping code I found on an older thread. (CJFREE2)
Still have my G2, going to keep using that till I get better.

Good going, whitey. I think Kent bought that same model as his first EXI and I believe he agrees with you about it being the best deal in the EXI lineup. Welcome to the EXI club, BTW.

Mighty, the Exi T450 CF (which I think you got) is amazing!
It is by far the best value going.
If you subtract the $35 for the case, then you have a heli that is all carbon fiber and CNC aluminum for $115!!!!!!!!
I can't wait until you receive it.
Please make sure to take EVERY screw out of it and make sure they are loctited. I mean every one of them. This is good! Kent

Congrats mighty! Great price and good heli.
Good idea to hang on to the G2 to have something to fly while you're building.
Why don't you post what you need to complete and we'll see what the members can sell for cheap. ;D
Happy landings

G2's a 400 size and the EXI is a 450, so there's not a huge size difference. The 450 does have a big stability and performance advantage though.
Happy landings

Very cool, Mighty that yours showed up! It's a work of art, isn't it? ==== I have servos, but I won't sell them or give them away because they are junk. I would highly recommend that you NOT use Towerpro's in the Exi.
I'm still impressed with the Hitec HS65HB's for the cyclic. These have no slop after hundreds of flights. I rebuilt them once after a major crash and they are still perfect. The rebuild kits are around 5 bucks. Just a couple of my experiences. Kent
