My christmas list is growing: Blade MSR, Trex 250, Micro Sukoi and micro P51...I think I'm going to need to locate a few new generous friends or relatives to be able get all those gifts. ;D
Happy landings

Dayum, 19k, my wish list is exactly the same as yours!!
I just read up on that tiny P51 a while back, one of my favorite planes of all time. The little bitty Sukoi looks awesome too!
And of course the MSR. Did you see the vid of that thing hovering hands free??? How'd they do that???
And oh yeah, the Trex 250. They even have a few scale fuselages for these now! Fun stuff! Kent

Have you noticed the EXI 250 yet? At $99 it's not really a super bargain but it is a little cheaper.

Yeah, and the Align model has all the goods.
I don't think I could bring myself to trust Exi to have reasonable hard parts that tiny. Heck, the 450 is reasonably tiny and Exi shafts and gears on it are junk. Same with the 500.
But hey, all of the Exi heli's that I have had are a wonderful bang for the buck. You just spend a few bucks on Align here and there and they are great. You still save money, albeit with more work overall and more crash risk! I love my Exi's, now that they are all ironed out.
The Align shafts and gears are cheap for this little 250 guy! But I wonder what else is crap on these? (I listened to you, BT, and just say crap now, instead of trying to be nice with the fishie!) Humm... Kent

Humm... Kent RCD is going to be the guru and resident expert on the Align 250. I'm going to live vicariously through his experiences ;D I can tell already that its just going to make me want to buy it all the sooner. RC, when do you get hitched? I would ask that you please refrain from letting that interfere with your heli flying and posting. Self control -- its all about self control ;D ;D And BTW, Kent, I just thought maybe you were fat fingering or maybe you were a carpy speller ;D ;D ;D Doozer is of the opinion that the original gears on the Align 250 are too easily stripped. I think they have updated these

This one is the heli, cyclic servos, motor, ESC, without the gyro and tail servo for $179.99 buy it now! No way does the Exi come anywhere close to this!! Note that these things use the same servos as the Trex 450's! Dayum. Ok, a little math. 3 x DS410 servos. Worth what, $50, or $16.60 each? Sounds reasonable? 1 x motor. Say worth $20, as it is Align? 1 x ESC. Say worth $20, as it is Align? 2 x sets of blades. Worth what, $5 each? A couple of tools are worth something, too, but we won't consider them here. So, we have $95 in 'stuff' for the Trex 250 that sells for $180 buy it now. To me, that is making the heli = $85, vs $99 for the Exi clone that is ONLY the heli! Ugh. LOL, I'm getting hitched on Thursday guys, just 4 days! Then I'm off to Hawaii for a little over a week. Looking forward to the vacation, but I'm gonna miss my birds. Man, I was out buzzing the 250 around today and it is just so much fun. The CF blades are SOOOOO much better for 3D flight. I was doing front flips and back flips in the back yard today, it was perfect, no wind. The more I fly this thing, the more I like it, so I'll be looking forward to comparing notes with anyone who gets one. I've also got that new little Sukhoi from parkzone. It's alright, not quite what I expected. It came to me way out of whack, took some serious adjustments to get it flying right. It doesn't handle as well as I had hoped. You can do barrel roles in it, but I expected much better 3D flight, kinda like my Typhoon 3D. The Typhoon flies so nice doing upside down, knife edges, and hovers and I was hoping for a small version of that. The mini Sukhoi is so small that ANY wind will just push it around and it's VERY challenging to maintain inverted flight. The BNF version is only $99, so it's not that bad, but don't expect too much from it. I looked at the new mini P51, but after getting the Sukhoi, I see how hard it is to make a really good 3D plane at that size. I've also have the ember and the vapor, and I would say that the Vapor is the most fun of them.

Congrats and have a great honeymoon rc. There will be many, many, many, many years to play pilot when you get back. ;D
After I saw the video of the sukhoi I was pretty much prepared for a less than 3D bird and more of a semi scale type. I don't think I'll be disappointed.
Just think what they could do with the same power and controls in a real 3D design with large control surfaces. ;D
Happy landings

That's amazing that 250 went for $290 for the super kit!!
I think NOW is the right time to buy the 250, since Align recently announced the 250 SE, as you pointed out BT. The best I can tell, they have beefed up a few parts and added a nicer servo mount. The CNC is all shiny aluminum now without anodizing. All of the new version's parts will fit the original version, from what I have read. It's also $439 for the SE super kit, and I haven't found any discounted yet. They are discounting the original kit by $100 or more.
But I have never seen one for under $300! Kent
