It looks like you're suffering from the first DX6i recall. The throttle pot sticks and has to be replaced. I'm surprised your has lasted this long before the problem showing up.
Mine did the same thing last year, although it didn't stick in one place. Better get hold of Horizon and get the paperwork in order.
Sorry Dube, but that's the only thing I can think of.

I had a DX6i that had that same problem, and Sol is right, it's the pot recall. Mine happened on the aileron pot.
It is a very annoying issue. The serial number is on the inside of the battery compartment. If it matches the list on Horizon's website, then you have an easier time sending it in. But it still sux.

Somebody turned me on to another one. You can land an F-16 inverted with no damage.lol... Is that the Turbine F16? I tried that on the Turbine yesterday and it didn't work. Happy landings

yea, i got all the info from sol, so there going to send me lables so i can get the ball rolling. What I was able to do for a while was to open the back of the DX6i and wiggle the wires for that pot around. It started working again. For your simulator, it might be worth a try, if it will be a while before you get the return papers. I wouldn't recommend flying anything real like that!! Kent
