Hello Everyone, I started to write this last night, and realized that my brain was not functioning in normal mode. I wanted to write a review that was based on facts with emotions scattered through it. Let me tell you that isn't going to be hard to do. RC Super Sales is owned and operated by Kyle Allred. His company is based in the U.S.A. It's really a two person operation. Him and his wife handle the orders, and I must say that they do this well. RC Super Sales carries many products including Heli Kits, RTF Helis, Parts, electronics, flybarless setups, helicommand rigid & 3d, Nitro supplies, AP supplies and much more. He carries more than a few name brand helicopter kits: Align, Century, HDX, GAUI, Thunder Tiger, Outrage and ESKY. RC Super Sales prices are competitive. For example The Trex 600 ESP kit I just bought from them was priced at $688 everywhere, including RC Super Sales. He does have weekly specials and many discounts on individual items. For example store.rcsupersales.net/servlet/-strse-4818/Align-T-dsh-REX-600-ESP/Detail?sfs=31579eff. If you enter the code you get this heli for 40 dollars less. I was a Marine, and he gives a military discount for veterans. So I got that heli at a much lower price. My Local Hobby Shop sells that for close to $800 dollars.... before taxes. I've purchased other things from RC Super Sales as well. Kyle was out of the servos that I wanted, so I called him up and we talked about what I should get. He said that he had just got some servos in that he was actually going to put in one of his heli's. They weren't even posted up on his site yet. They were more expensive but he sent them to me at the cost of my other servos. That floored me. I got good service, and a better servo at the the original price, all at the same time. The cool thing was that I was talking to the guy that was taking my order, packing my product, and he owned the company. That's personalized service. That's what I look for. The RC Super Sales site was a little confusing to navigate. Most sites when you click on the "Kits," menu, you get another screen with manufacturer's Names. RC Super Sales just throws all the kits at you at once and lets you sift through them. They do offer a few options, but not enough to be very helpful. Not every menu is like that. The parts menu is actually quite helpful. Also, there are pages that need some updating. These things are really very minor, but I've added them in my review for completeness. In these economic times, people need to be more consumer friendly. I'm a firm believer in keeping my money at home, but there are those etailers out there that don't want to reciprocate that attitude. RC Super Sales is not one of those etailers. They are the mom and pop store(even though he's a young buck). So if you can, I'd recommend at least giving this guy a try. www.rcsupersales.comSo here it goes: Service: Excellent Price: Good Product Availability: Good Product Assortment: Excellent Website: Fair Ease of order: Excellent Discounts: Excellent Shipping Speed: Fast Shipping Cost: Good Shipping Options: Good Flexibility: Excellent

Much appreciated on the review. The site is constantly a work in progress and we are currently in the process of getting all the categories organized much better. As it stands the Heli Kits and batteries are listed in Alphabetical order but I will be breaking them down to have their own subcategories. The Helicopter parts are broken down by subcategories and I have also added all the upgrades to the Helicopter Parts category to make things easier. I have been a little slacking on my deals of thew week and special sales events but those will be getting updated this week. The website is the most time consuming part of the business and one that I honestly dread doing. But it comes with the job so oh well. And I am not making enough to pay someone else to do it yet I really appreciate the review here and I greatly appreciate everyone's business and support. I do my best to make my customers happy and give them the best deals I can. Of course I screw up on occasion but I always do my best to make it up to my customers. I will be posting various sales and promos I am doing on my site on this forum and try to help anyone out in any way I can. The best way to get a hold of me is via email as I don't get to frequent the forums much but try to when I get a chance. I am usually on Rc Groups or Helifreak. There is lots of good info on there for folks and everyone is very cool. I have been flying Full Scale Helis since Jan. 2006 and RC Helis since Jun 2006. I am an Aviation Nut and love everything about Aviation, specifically Rotorcraft. Haveing the knowledge of the full scale Helicopters helps out in understanding the dynamics of RC Helis and the aspects of flying and what is involve with it but of course the actual RC flying is much different. I guess I would be an intermediate flyer. I don't crash unless I am doing something stupid and fly outside of my comfort zone. I can do stationary and flying flips, loops, rolls, nose in, but haven't gotten to my inverted hovering yet. I am a very cautious flyer because I don't have the time to sit down and put one back together once it has been crashed. I am so meticulous with my setups that it takes me a long time to complete a build. But I usually take off and don't have to adjust a thing except for my tail servo. You always have to dial that in. I am currently in the process of trying to finish an Outrage G5 build. I have everything I need to complete my T-REX 700 electric and a Swift 550. I currently have an HDX 450SE V2 I fly, and I flew a King 2 for about a year before I sold it off. I unfortunately do not get to fly as much as I want to right now but that is okay because I love what I am doing. I am also in the process of completing my Commercial License in Helicopters and then I will finish up my Instructor certificate and start teaching other's to fly Helicopters. I am also finishing up a Bachelors Degree in Aviation Science. I would love to have an RC Flight School as well and teach people to fly but that is something that isn't quite feasible at the moment. I look forward in hearing from you all! Great idea with this Forum and keep up the good work. Good luck!

Welcome to the forum Kyle, good to have you here. I just purchased some stuff from you and I gotta say the follow up email was a nice personal touch you don't often get with online businesses. Looking forward to getting the parts that are going into my T-Rex build which I started yesterday. Can't wait to get this beast up and going. Keep up the good work you are doing a great job running the place by yourself.

Hey Kiwi, Kyle lives in Kalispell, about 100 miles north of me and right outside Glacier Park.
I have talked with Kyle several times on the phone and am going to buy his Swift 16 when I'm ready. He told me that anyone here could get the Swift kit for $185.00....that is a steal to me. He is by far one of the nicest people to deal with. He is one of the few companies that will return phone calls the same day or the next day at the latest. I have bugged him to no end on heli choices and he has not let me buy from him yet!!!! I tried but it was a no go until my skills improve, he is the one that made my decision final on the Blade 400 which he doesn't sell. How's that for customer service? He is not in it for the bucks like Xheli is, he wants to promote the hobby for those that want to pursue it.
I hope nobody minds but I invited him to check us out. I think Kyle will be a huge asset to us. He's not in it for just the money, but it wouldn't hurt to swing some biz his way anyway.
Dave

Kyle First let me say Thank You for stopping by and visiting with us here and deciding to become a member at RC Heli Talk Forum. I believe that you will find as time goes on that this is not your everyday run of the mill forum. RC Heli Talk Forum is a very open forum that has been build by the members, for the members. We have no big company backing us and telling us as members what we can and can not do. There is a lot of great knowledge in our members and they love to share this knowledge with the new guy so that in the future that new guy is the one sharing with others. Once again thanks for taking a little time out of your day and stopping in here. Would love to see you be as active as you can and if there is every anything I can do for you here at RC Heli Talk all you have to do is ask. Dave www.rchelitalk.com

I first heard about this guy on Allthingsthatfly.com, the Inside Heli podcast. Those two aren't into mincing words about whether they think someone is bogus or not. They really seemed to like Kyle, so that's why I gave his company an try. I am extremely pleased. You won't find many dealers that are willing to take their time to do what he just did. Some dealers want way too much for nothing. We've already run across that.
Thanks again Kyle.

Thanks for all the kind words guys. If you all wouldn't mind I would be greatly appreciated if you all may pop over to my own threads on RCG and maybe say a word or two If you have a minute or two www.rcgroups.com/rcsupersales-553/Here is another little thread I started up to help folks out. www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=993284I will post something similar on this site as well. Pretty much word for word to make it easier for me. I know you all use this forum but in case you guys haven't been over there I have found RC Groups to be one of the best with a great group of people and an easily navigable site. Anyways just another resource to check out. HeliFreak as well for those who haven't seen it. It is good to see more forums as it just gives that many more opportunities for people to interact about the hobby. Looking forward to helping people out. Like I said email is the best and easiest way to get a hold of me. I try to reply within a day but on occasion it takes me longer. Have fun flying!

I just read this review this morning and went and looked at the site. Must have been only minutes before Kyle posted his response. I, like mtnmole, really like the looks of the Swift 16 and almost bought it this morning but I don't think I'm ready for that yet. That being said I now know exactly where I will buy it. The fact that he took the time to actually come and check out this forum, let alone make the post that he did, sealed the deal for me.

Kyle, welcome and hi. I've got the Swift 16 only in RTF. Century did an awsome job w/this helicopter. But......when it comes to the stock servos and the gyro, (I know, a little money saved can reshow to the Customer). They would have had a rocket if only.....but I love this heli. What would you suggest for a faster servo and a mid-range gyro for this flying machine?

Got all the electronics for my T-Rex from Kyle yesterday and I was very pleased with the quality and packaging, all got to me in great condition. Put them all on the heli and she is starting to look great. Will definitely be buying from him again in the near future. ;D

What would you suggest for a faster servo and a mid-range gyro for this flying machine? For a tail gyro I highly recommend this: store.rcsupersales.net/servlet/-strse-2007/HYPERION-ATLAS-DS-20/Detail?sfs=5e0e5942 Sweet servo, great price and is programmable via a separate USB cable you can buy for the Hyperion Servos. For the Gyro the Logictech 2100t is a great little gyro. I am using it on 2 different helis and it will work great on a Swift. store.rcsupersales.net/servlet/-strse-197/Logictech-2100T-High-Performance/Detail?sfs=5e0e5942 This gyro has some sweet features and holds rock solid. Let me know if you have any other questions or need some help. good luck! Have a great weekend guys!

As I went thru reading about the recommendations, I also noticed that you have a good inventory of Swift parts. One stop shopping is invaluable. Anywho, This is a project that I'm turning into a 109a (already have the bod mod. And of course, with a price tag that will be on this mod, only great parts will be installed. I'm in the process of talking myself into the metal rotor upgrade. As soon as I do, i'll be ordering all. Thanks Kyle for the quick Response. DBee (from RCSupersales of course)
Just saw your other post in reference to noob help. Cool. Also, i have been an IA w/helis for about 35 years. Wouldn't trade it for nottin. (and a "sh*thook FE" for awhile back)
