No landing gear boys - she's a belly lander. Kent hit the nail between the eyes. I love my edf's but I can fly and land this thing in my back yard. I take her about a half mile out and glide her in. I could grab it with my hand as it passes its so slow on the glide.
I'm not sure what the rpms are on the Stryker. Its an 1880KV inrunner motor with 6 poles.
I'm trying to get the wife to actually walk down the stairs for a video, but I don't see that happening any time soon.

Full charge on 4s w/o a prop would be 31,584 rpm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Getting lower on the battery would be 28,576 rpm!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yeow!
What prop are you running, Gabe? Kent

I think he's still running the stock 3S, Kent, according to a previous post.
Easy to figure your no-load RPM/s, Gabe. Motor kv times the voltage times the efficiency factor. 1880 x 12.6 x .9 = 21319 RPM's
Hmmm, a on a 4S, you'd likely be leaving wings behind. ;D

Oh, my 4s numbers are high. I forgot to take efficiency into consideration. If that's box stock, then I MUST HAVE ONE!! For those times when you just need to go balls to the wall!! Dam that thing is FAST! Officially the F27 is discontinued although I'm sure you won't have any problems finding one, or build it from parts, about 61 bucks if I recall, and put in your own electronics. That's what I'm doing. No rush for me since we won't be doing any belly landing around here for about 45 days. Ah, the joys of melting snow.

Yup, BONE STOCK boys! Seriously, I took it out of the box, slapped the fins on there (no glue), CA glued the nose cone on, and plugged in my receiver. DONE. 3S 2200 mah zippies and one 3S 2200 mah Power Edge. Its noticeably faster with the Power Edge, and I can charge it at 3C safely. I had no idea they were discontinued. Horizon Hobby doesn't say anything about it on their site, AND they are still selling them: www.horizonhobby.com/Products/Default.aspx?ProdID=PKZ4275She flies great in the wind too. I had her up in 12-15mph winds with no problems. My landing is tough though. I have to squeeze over a 5'-tall fence while navigating to the left of a street light, then past where I'm standing and between a set of palm trees, pines, and bushes: And here's two panorama's to see what I'm dealing with: This one is horizontal and it kinda shows everything. Looks a little stretched though: This one is great in a 360 degree viewer (not sure how to do that though). I come screaming down the grassy area at full throttle and split the trees about 5' - 8' off the ground and pull up hard right before the fence:

Just an apartment Dube. Gotta make it big in the business before I move into something nice.
Yeah, that corridor is pretty small for flying. I figured, what the heck - its only foam. Got it dialed in now though. Keeps the adrenaline pumping.

Correction to post above: Stryker discontinued, not the Stryker "B" model.

Yup. Both videos on 3s although I'm using 4s now with throttle management.
