memories, wow, my dad and his brother were pilots, my dad work for nwa for 41 yrs. not as a pilot but a crewchief. and his brother,my uncle, owns a stierman, and a AT-6 that they race at reno, the AT-6 is called lickadee split, with a woman on the side of it. i grew up with my dad and his planes, fly to st.cloud for ice cream, then back to crystal air port were we lived five blocks from. thats were my dad kept his planes, your right, memories  |

Pilots on both sides of the family. My dad & two uncles on my mom's side. My mom used to say that I, "Grew up in a plane." I even got a ride in a P51 and a rare dual seater Bearcat. Life wouldn't be near as much without the memories. And in the end, that's what we'll have left. |

good morning, another beutiful day in mn. well bob i got the corsair together & bond to my dx6i. are there any setting that i should now about on the tx before my madian flite? it looks to be about 5 to 6 mph winds right now. expo, flaps, any thing.

good morning, another beutiful day in mn. well bob i got the corsair together & bond to my dx6i. are there any setting that i should now about on the tx before my madian flite? it looks to be about 5 to 6 mph winds right now. expo, flaps, any thing. Man, it's blowing like crazy right now here. Supposed to be 5-10. Bug says it's 14mph right now. I fly mine with the DX5e so there's nothing to do. Make sure your control surfaces are working in the right direction. Double check the ailerons. With the stock locations on the servo arms I wouldn't think you'd need any expo. You might try it on low rates, but that really slows down the turns and the loops are huge. Good luck! |
