havent flown it yet kent, to windy out and crappy, how would i set it up on the dx6i. i did bind it. but thats as far as i got so far. maybe later to day i will set it up in the tx. but i wish they had the corsiar. i like that gull wing look. Easy setup forthe DX6i. Just plug in the battery while the tx is off. Pull and hold the trainer switch on the tx while turning it on. When you see "bind" flash across the screen you are good to go. Wait a few secs and you should hear the servos center. No need to set up dual rates unless you open the fuse and move the aileron bell crank linkage to the next hole. That changes the plane to high rates mechanically. If you do that, set up dual rates in the dx6i at say 70%. Happy flying! The binding procedure is the same on all the ultra micros with either the DX5e, DX6i, and I think the DX7 also. Trainer switch and Tx power on at the same time after first plugging in the plane's battery like gabe said. LP5DSM you don't even need to hold the trainer switch. I use the DX5e or LP5DSM on my ultra micros, the Sukhoi and Vapor, and I find no real difference in how they fly with the low rates on. Ain't it great not to have those stupid binding plugs on the ultra micros? They need to get rid of those on the bigger RX's too.
