I was looking around for used 3G electronics for my 500. $300 is the going rate. Dave Ditch turned me on to a site with the whole shebang for a tick over $300 though. If I get the 3G kit for the 250,it's only $290. Then I can sell the FBL 250 head for a small price and have the electronics for cheap.

Yeah, i think that's a good way to go. But do that fast because the 250 head parts will start flowing soon enough. They have a ton on their plate getting those programmers out, so who knows when the head parts will come out of tw. Could be tomorrow, highly doubt it though. Microheli's head is pretty decent and it's 40 bucks. I'm sure you could get a bit more due to the parts for the head being so rare. Seriously though, before you buy, be aware that the programmers are not out yet, and only programming you will be able to do, once the programmer does come out, will be to upgrade the firmware. The programming software is not released. Some people, like me, have experienced wag, and a random tail kick. This doesn't happen to everyone, and it only happens to a few people overall. I just got lucky I guess The firmware upgrade adresses this, so I'm kind of antsy to get the programmer... you may not ever need it. So other than the wag, and the occasional crapping in my pants due to the tail kick.... I love the way it flys. I know that sounds weird, but it is stable as hell and it does not move off the line you put it on... or the line the tail randomly puts it on.
