First crash ever from less than an inch in the air and it is a complete loss. Blade broke off at the root.Second time for me but it didn't hit me this time ;D Soon as the blade broke,it stuffed the concrete and immediately locked up and stopped.I mean it looked like I hit the pause button.lol... After I looked,I saw why.It bent the one way bearing 22 degrees.Ever seen that?I haven't. It pulled a bunch of screws through the frame and just mangled the upper frame quarters. Split the head block.Broke a few links. I mean, this is the most damage I've evr done to a heli and that speaks volumes.lol... This is literally every single part of the frame that's still usable..

UGH! I think you've outdone yourself with this one ern. And no, I haven't ever seen anything like it and can only hope I won't ever will again. You haven't even got enough left to call the remains spare parts. More like left over scraps. Try not to do this again. It's depressing to your friends just looking at it.

If I were to guess, something plastic broke causing a blade to snap, causing all heck to break loose.
The Exi plastic 450 is pure crap. I had one.
I think I still have the frame that seems somewhat like it's made from old coke cans.
Just my opinion.
Sorry that happened, Mckrackin. Kent

Clues in the pictures: 1. First picture is blurred from shaking hands. 2. Vitamins in the background STRESS Formula -- take the whole bottle. 3. Multiple spent smokes. 4. No beer bottle -- must be in your other hand ;D
Sorry for the calamity, Ern. Are the servos stripped?

No chicken dance. It hit on its side and froze.Idle up 100% flat. The blades(HK carbon)were in four prior crashes sooo.......... Lots of Dremel cutting to get it apart. There was not one stripped servo.
There was so little left,I put it in a box with the HK frame I had as a spare and gave it away.
Definite re-kit.
Thinking CopterX Pro TT.

Oh, man, I am sorry to hear that.
Hey, you might want to hang on to those 410's in case you want to build one of them little invisible 250's, or like you say, a Pro 450!!
That's giving away those 410's. They are great servos. At least my 5xx and 6xx ones are. Hey, you sold me my DS510's. They are still going strong. I did have to rebuild a couple after a crash.
Hey, the Pro clones look nice! I noticed you can get an entire TT tail for a 450 pro for $35 from I think CopterX.
But really, I love my 500 the best. I fly it 10x more than the 450. Kent

Kent I have two 250's flying now. I have also kinda committed all my larger 3S packs to series set up for the 500.

Oh yeah, I remember your 250's! And I remember you building up a 500! Cool!
I have a similar pile of 450 parts from the plastic stuff! I gave some of mine to BT a long time ago, but I don't think I purged the junk drawer completely...
Hey, maybe we could pool-de-stuff and give it to the neediest fellow in the group? I could also donate at least one of the G401B gyros, but that's probably all. I am using all of the other electronics in planks. Humm...

Didn't get back to work because of a traffic stop gone terribly awry. Glitch in the system showed my license suspended so I was arrested and my truck is immobilized until after my court date. Got the license straightened out but can't talk to any of the attorneys involve for weeks. My office skipped me and brought back someone else. This has been a mess.Sheesh.

I did and guess what...lost my license for too many speeding tickets.lol.... Got it back and have since got two more speeding tickets and have my license hanging by a thread again.lol... One more ticket and I lose my license for 30 days...again.... At least after a 30 day suspension I get 6 points back which is three more tickets ;D
