A new problem stuck its head out now. with all my trim settings in the middle, my bottom blades start moving first, i have to move the trim to the right as far as it can go, and then the blades only start spinning at the same time?? What do I do??
I really feel stupid but I am lost!!!!!!!!

You can readjust your 3in1 make sure your throttle trim is at zero but before you do that make sure that both of the motors are not binding ( gears to tight ). And also most of the time one blade will spin up before the other this is to compensate for the upper weight and inertia of the upper blade. Spool it up like you are going to take off, If it takes off without the body spinning I would not worry about it.. Ray
CG is center of gravity pick your heli up from the flybar to check balance move the battery back and forth to adjust perfect balance..

Hay guys, me again. Thanks for you pervious help. It worked like a dream, and best of all it was not that difficult. I had a small crash two days ago, I broke only 2 A blades, and was still able to fly after te crash. When I was done flying I packed up and went home. When i started by big lama up again, and gave it some throttle, it started spinning hard right, in circles, even with only a bit of throttle?!!! WHY? ? I adjusted the preportions on the speed cont but this did not work?? Any ideas??

Once your 3in1 has been adjusted, you shouldn't need to adjust it after a crash. It sounds like your outer gear is slipping. Make sure both gears are snug on their respective shafts and motor pinions are engaging properly.

I hate to say it but it could be a bad motor or a 3in1.. Ray

Thats what I am also thinking? BUt how do I find out what it is> When I hold the heli in my hand both set of blades spin and I can feel that the heli wants to spin right? WHen its on the floor, the top blades stop spinning! Does this mean that the gyro is the prob???
Why whould is just break? It was in the box, and nothing happened to it!!!

If a motor gets stalled it can burn a spot in the armature causing a slow motor it can also cause problems with the 3in1. I guess if it was me the motor is the cheapest thing to buy and test and you will need a set anyway in the future. So I would start there then go to the 3in1 but before you do check the gears, shafts and bearings I just had one doing the same thing and the top bearing was seized. Ray

i THINK ITS THE MOTOR!! If I heold the gear and open the throttle on the bench test, it does not move, this is with the top blades, when I try this with the bottom blades, they move no matter how tight I holfd on? DOes this sound right??

Can it be that the pinion on the motor is loose?
Sorry to be such a bother

I buy most of my parts from miricle mart because we dont have a good local shop and they ship to South Africa? Will the extreme 380 motors for the Honey bee FP work in the Lama?
Which landing skid can I buy that is better than the stock one, and will fit??
