Really cool. Unfortunately, it looks like the same crappy brushed tail motor setup they've used before.

The tail motor on my MSR worked forever.Hundreds and hundreds of flights. My 120SR is the same.Still on the first motor.
They are coreless motors unlike the regular brushed motor on the SR.

I've heard the 120SR has had problems with the tail motor but that could be rather rare as opposed to the SR.

I went through several motors on my MSR. I fly it pretty hard. Maybe that's why?
On my first MSR (I'm on number 2 now as the first 5:1 went bad), I went through 4 tail motors and 2 main motors. Then the 5:1 went.
On MSR number 2, I must admit I'm on the original motors still. I don't fly it as much as I did the first one, but I do thrash it pretty good outside.
Just my experiences.
This new heli surely could benefit from the brushless tail mod that 19k and Raygun came up with for the SR! Kent

Ern,
Did you find any info about price? I looked around but didn't find anything.

Seems like a lot of money for such a small heli. After reading the articles on it, seems like if you like adventure this heli is for you. I think i will just watch videos of it flying and settle for that. Seems safer any ways.

Well the Blade Mcp is out, looks like alot of people are having trouble with the bearings and blades flying off in flight. I wonder if Horizon will due anything about this? I'm seeing the same thing. LOTS of reports about blades flying off. Glad that I decided to wait and see. Horizon Hobby will have to take some action, but it may take a while to come up with a fix. I bet some folks at HH are hiding under their desks over this one.

Itll be interesting to see what Horizon does about this. When a new product comes out like this I always wait and see what people say about it before buying one myself.

It does not take much pressure to pop one of those micro bearings apart I kind of wonder if there flying apart after a recent crash or blade strike. Not that it should it is just I have found those small bearings don't take impact very well and tend to fall apart and just flying apart on just centrifugal force alone is generally not enough. ;D

The fix on this would be simple a washer slightly smaller than the outside diameters of the bearing with a small step up near the center would fix it if the bearing started to come apart the washer would prevent separation.
