I've gone with the all aluminum gear at k-planes for my 400-450's. If you break that gear that will be the very least of your problems.

lol, yeah... if you break that gear you'll need a drill to find your heli.

Got them today right before work. They came with two 5 dollar phone cards too. Not sure why, but it was cool. I can only say.... Hmmmmm ::scratches head:: they look a lot different in the picture. I'll take pics when I get home... but man.... kind of clunky looking and heavy. They weren't packed very well either... they were just tossed in the box with some wadded up hometown newspaper. I could here them clang together as the mailman handed them to me. The skids aren't real pretty.... (i'm being nice). Not CNC .... unless they use "Corky" the CNC computer. Lets hope the work better than they look, or were packed. Because of my radio recall. I'm going to wait to fly any helis with that radio until its fixed.
On a Customer service note.... Customer Service, in my case, was non-existent. Unless, you consider pay-pal notifications Customer service. I emailed them and asked for a confirmation that they got my order or were working on it, but until I got my skids, I heard nothing from them. I'm going to give these skids a fair shake, but based on all of the above, I'm not sure I'll be buying another set.
