I was on today at around 6:45 pm central time and we had 32 guest viewing on the forum.
Don't know where they all came from but it was great to see that many people viewing your post guys. I mean there was just about somebody in every board.
Thanks to all the guest out there for paying us a visit.
What do you guys think about us opening up a board where these guest can sign in as a guest and ask a couple of question.

Sure... but make it time and IP sensitive if you can. This way if someone comes to the forum and trolls/flames/ or otherwise makes a nuisance of their self you can ban the IP. There's a difference between asking a question and trolling the forum to heat it up.  |

Expires after so many hours, days, weeks, months.... some sort of time so the IP can't guest forever. The guest IP can only guest once a week or once a month... something like that.

I don't think that any changes are necessary, personally. If you let em post as guests, then you'll get a whacko that does strange things, then when you boot him, he'll just come back with another name.
I would vote that we don't change anything in that regard.

Well, that was Kent chiming in, Dave. But I agree. If someone wants to ask or contribute, they can become a member...we don't bite.
Besides, some of those "visitors" could be actual members. I know I don't always log in when I want to briefly check on the posts.
