im looking at the castle bec pro. is this good to get or should i look at something else.
id like to use some kinda regulater so im not limited certain batterys. ill be running savox servos probly runn them all at 6 volts .
i have modded 450 size speed controls to work as rx power supplies and i think ill do this again untill i figure out what i want to buy.
i dont think i want to be flipping a switch all the time ust plug the deans in and go. whatver i use will be run that way.
thanks guys for your advice

Every thing at 6v here and that's exactly what I use... and have been using for several months now. Doesn't even get warm. My rx pack is a 3s 2100 25C Hyperion. I know CC has had some issues as of late, but I haven't had an issue... lots of flights.

thanks for the reply. my 1290 is only rated for 6 volts and 1258s 7.4 so i figure 6 is plenty all the way around.

6.6 volt LiFe and no regulator. Or an AR7100R RX and a 2S lipo and no regulator.
Either way,I suggest the AR7100R RX since it has a built in rev limiter. It needs no regulator or governor.

I use a 6.6v LiFe and an AR7100R, works awesome, it uses a switch so I never unplug the LIFe unless I am charging it.

The AR7100R RX has a power lead with whatever plug you want on it.
