Ernie talked me into buying and practicing with the MCPX and it was a good thing it really sharpens your skills. The flybarless allows you to fly in a little higher winds.. Ray

The MCP X is the best thing to hit the hobby since the sim and it may be even better than a sim.
Hurricane Hobbies has an MCP X they let customers fly. I would never ask at out Hobby Town though...They asked me and another customer to leave once because we were talking and not buying anything....Screw them.I had a bunch of stuff sitting at the register to buy and left to go talk to another customer since THERE WAS NOBODY watching the register to ring me out....I left it all sitting there when I left...I won't go back.

Thats stupid for the Hobbytown manager to do that, they obviously dont want a lot of business. The Hobbytown near me is way better, they seem decent and will give you advice on something if you ask them a question. Rumor is that HH is coming out with a Blade Mcpx v2 in a while. Ive been following this thread- www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1543214I would like to get a Mcpx but dont want to buy one right before they release a v2.

That thread leads me to believe it's bogus and that is the exact word Horizon Hobby used in response to the V2.

Well its true that Horizon is coming out with a version 2. www.horizonhobby.de/mcpx2.htmlWith the help of Google translate it says- Is the lightest 3D helicopter in the world is now available in the revised version 2 Equipped with the new, improved 3-axis gyro system AS3X, stronger LiPos, a larger tail rotor swash plates and additional dampers, can be the mCP X version 2 rock even more precisely by the 3D figures. Of course he is still perfect to move from a normal to a 3D helicopter. No word yet if its going to be in the US or not. Ill still probably get the old version, it doesnt seem like to many differences.

Just saw in the black friday ads, ps3 with 2 games and a controller for $200. Wonder what I would use more a Mcp or a ps3? Hmmm decisions, decisions.

That's a tough decision. Good luck with that. You can use both indoors. The ps has more things you can do with it, but you can't fly it. Hmmmmm.

Sometimes, either Europe, The UK or Austrailia get products first. I suspect it has to do with who's turn it is for Beta testing the product.
