I did not think I could make the SR fly any worse so I decided to mod it into flybarless. Attachments:

The FBL head is tight and works good the tail is really ramped up from the 2000 KV motor that I installed in there before. The flybarless unit is a $29 Copter X unit yet to be mounted there is not much room here to play with.. Ray

This is not the 120 its the blade SR (300 size) I am doing just because I can the tail is a DDVP.
No RC I did not get the programming box it probably would make it easier. The Align 3G unit I have is much easier to program than the Copter X unit.

I remade the mount from 3/8 aluminum bar stock I machined a spot for an extra bearing to handle the load. The Rimfire motor has a short snout and not much spacing between bearings this can cause the shaft to vibrate. To give you an idea how small the drill bits, taps and screws are I placed a dime next to the mount.. Ray Attachments:

I dont think I would be on the fence about it RC it looks like a good one to begin with and at RC groups there is a bunch of people that have purchased them and really like them. There is also a couple of Videos on the setup of the Tarot brand which has the same programming as the copter x. The video shows step by step on how to set it up. This is where I got mine and they have everything in stock. They are fast about shipping and the cost to ship is about $7. They are also real good about answering questions and if you get a bad one there very good about replacing it. I have had some trouble with Wow hobbies..
