Noice! I'm loving this plane too. I wanted to fly tomorrow but it's supposed to be very windy... like 30 mph windy. Would have been better to fly today but I'm workin' I'm getting video next trip out.

I look forward to the video.
I was shooting landings yesterday out at the polo field until I almost hit LVC. At least a dozen landings. Lot's of crosswind and downwind landings.
This is a very good low speed plane. Landing approaches, even downwind, are easy to control right up to touchdown. I did bounce it pretty hard a few times as I forced a stall on crosswind and downwind landings to see where the limits are. I eventually broke the tail wheel holder. Epoxied it and it's as good as.
The main landing gear is holding up very well.

Wow, sorry I've missed you all's flight reports!
I haven't flown mine in a while, so this makes me want to get it out again!
This is one of those rare birds that doesn't care what position it's in!
They actually race these at a field up north somewhere. That would be awesome to see and do.
And yes, once you go 4s, you will never go back! Half throttle flying and the best part is unlimited vertical and huge aerobatics with ease! Kent

I can see where racing these planes would be a lot of fun. I'm working on getting a few other guys interested in them. Who knows; maybe we'll have a race before the season's over?

Flying two 3S 35C 1100 mah Hyperion's in parallel. I'm able to control the cg a little better. 35C makes a big difference. You can see the thrust during take off.
This thing flies nice. Bounced the landing, it stalled before I could give it power. 2nd time I did that tonight.
Sorry for my son's commentary, he's a big dumb animal, but he's my son. Whaddya gonna do?

Great flight!. This plane does like power on landings. Dead sticking will usually make it stall at the last second.

Well, I went and did it. got my account info straightened out with Cermark and ordered a new one.
I think I'm going to go all out, at least in my definition of the term, and deck this one out more legit 30's style. Probably with a Gilmore scheme. Got lots of time this winter and don't want to be shamed by Doozer's gas queen.

That's the one! What a Beast! I think I'll do mine more along the line of the the real Gilmore in the way of markings. I built a stick and tissue one a few years back.

No!. I can't believe it. Cermark says my order is pending payment. My bank says Cermark has not attempted to charge the account. Called Cermark and got no answer. Emailed them first and got no answer.
Will try again today.

ugh.... I know how you're feeling right now. Maybe try a PM to Steve Chao over @ RC groups. If not, Hobby King sells one... though, it's got all the Texaco crap on it www.hobbyking.com/hobbyking/store/__18001__GeeBee_R3_750mm_EPO_PNF_.htmlHowever, it's only $70 bucks. There's way too many knuckleheads in the hobby trade. I think if were going to be treated like we're buying international, we might as well buy international if it's cheaper to do so. We just have to lower our expectations and we'll be happier.

I might PM Stephen. right now after 3 separate attempts to buy this plane I'd like to strangle the guy. That HK plane is fairly small. I've seen one at a LHS. Nicely done for a HK plane, but not my cup of tea. I may have to buy that 30cc model and electrify it.

I may have to buy that 30cc model and electrify it. That would be slick! I've seen a YouTube video of one @ SEFF. Well after putting up with the wobbly stock spinner on the Cermark, I went and purchased a new one.

That's what I did to mine. I got the stock one to run wobble free, but in the end it cracked and I put on the trusty Dubro. I use one on my P51 too.
The spinner was one of the few external parts that survived the crash. The spinner, vertical stab and canopy came out OK.
