I maidened the Exi 450 today in 20 mph winds. I would of never tried it but I just had to see if it was going to fly. I have to say she flies really well. It hardly noticed the wind at all at one time it was blowing pretty good too. She flies similar to my mcpx, just bigger and a ton more power. On my second flight the wind died down and I was already hovering nose in which I wasnt able to do with a flybar. I got 3 flights in today and looking forward to many more.
So far I havent messed with any of the programming except the servo limits and servo and gyro reverse. It almost hovers hands off. Just dont do a punch out, I tried one and the tail kicked 90* instantly. So far Im very happy with it.

That is great RC !!! Did you pick the preset F3C Mode or did you pick one of the other mode's?? Ray

That is great RC !!! Did you pick the preset FC3 Mode or did you pick one of the other mode's?? Ray I picked the F3C mode. One problem with going FBL is you never want to fly another flybar again.

sounds like a sweet bird and thats awesome how the lack of flybar seems to almost make an instant nose in hover
