That's AWESOME, Fergie!!
You are going to LOVE that radio!
I can't wait for you to upgrade your Blueray to that radio. It will make that heli a whole new heli!
Congrats!
I also upgraded to a DX7 fairly recently, and I made a deal for someone who needed a radio too. I can tell you that there is not much that a DX7 has that a DX6i doesn't have. In fact, the DX6i has a more intuitive interface.
Best, Kent

Best, Kent hey thanx kent, yeah i got to mess around with it when i was over there last. we even bound it to my blade MCX ;D it's definatly a good TX. he even let me hover his blade 400. he was going to let me fly his t-rex 500, but i told him to let me get alittle more experience first. i really would have hated to crash that one. very nice, everything CNC from micro heli. but yes kent it's good to have friends ;D

I understand completely. Funny though.I just ordered a Blade MCX to bind to my DX7. I have never had to bind before and I want to.I also want something to play with while lieing on the couch.
How did your MCX perform with the Spektrum?

The MCX is perfect with the Spektrum! It is easiest to just set the DX7 up as a plane.
Steps for simple DX7 setup: 1. New airplane model named MCX. 2. Bind. 3. FLY!
Binding the MCX is super easy. 1. Turn off transmitter. 2. Turn on MCX until LED flashes. 3. Turn on transmitter while pressing bind button on back. 4. Hold button on transmitter in until the LED on the MCX goes solid. 5. Done.
That's it! Kent
