I didn't understand what people meant when they said "If I had to do it for I living I'd stop doing it." I mean, I knew what they meant, but I never really felt that way until I started painting. I don't practice all that much and I think some people would probably have problems with my work if they paid me for it. But when its for me, it's all about the learning to do it better the next time.
I spent a lot of time on that paint job, and it spent a few seconds in the air. To be honest, I wasn't all that broken up about the plane. I wished I had it to do over again when I finished it. It was well worth the time and money to build it, and now I feel comfortable taking on something larger.
I've been going through all my planes slowly and making sure the throws are correct and they are balanced. Hope to get the gassers in the air next week. Won't have my camera man though, he's off to Navy bootcamp this tuesday. He'll be @ great lakes for two months, then off to nuke school in S.C.

Well you sure have the eye for it when I was customizing cars the flames they painted then where pretty corny those look like the real deal.. Ray
