I don't have my original weller gun. If I did it would belong in a museum. I think I got it when I was about 11. That would be 54 years ago. I used it to build my first RC ACE Tx and Rx and some ham radio equipment. I'm talking tube sets here. Built my first transistor RC equipment with it too. And now they're working on "look and fly" RC. Jeeze!
I might get me one of those butane pencils. Just neat not to have and cords in the way and instantly adjustable heat.
