I have these servos and they are great except the mounts are a little brittle compared to others. This could be good and this could be bad LOL. They are be stiffer and do not flex much. I had a "abrubt" landing and it cracked the mounting tab on my rudder servo. Other than that all metal digital servo for that price is great seems to work smooth center nice and fairly quiet. I just ordered ten HXT900 servos from HC I have four already but I think they will work for park flyers. I might try them in my G2 as well they are certainly cheap enough. Trevor.

Hey Kent or McKrackin,
Im planning on using the lock tite on my EXI tail boom. Do I need to use it where the boom goes into the frame also or just the blade end?
Earnie - did you use the blue? What I have is actually "Permatex" in the blue (medium strength).
Thanks Ranben

Hi Ranben: You need to be able to move the boom in and out of the front to adjust the belt. It also has a slot there, so it cannot really twist.
So, you only need to 'fix' the tail. As it sits, you can just grab the tail and twist it on the boom, I'll bet.
While you are at it, you should go ahead and locktite all of the tail screws too. Most of them go into metal, and even ones that look like they go into plastic have metal inserts in the plastic. None of these were loctited on mine. In fact the only things that were were the screws in the head.
The permatex blue is perfect. Just the same as any other loctite.
What I really don't like is the philips screws in areas like the boom to frame mount. It's really hard to get those tight.
I'm getting ready to post a video pointer. This thing is doing bizarre things again with the servos...I'll post a new thread about it. Kent
