I'm already pushing it with the MCX. I have been practicing all day landing in the bottom of an empty laundry hamper. I can land but can't take back off. I'm also trying to land on a pop can top but haven't quite got it yet.

I bought an MCx as my personal gift to myself last christmas too. I justified that somehow. It's still going strong. I'm using a 130mAh tynergy battery in it. It really is a nice combo along with the not so glow in the dark blades.
Forget about the TV man. It will bounce of it like a gnat. ;D
I fly mine with an LP5DSM transmitter which is much better than the POS that the RTF's come with. Nice thing about the "brick" radio/servo system is that it will work with any spektrum or JR Tx.
If you're also into building indoor micros the "brick" is the way to go.
Happy landings

Yeah,I hit the TV with the 3ch micro. It's an LCD so when the blades hit there was big lightning flash effects on the screen at the point of impact.lol.
I really bought mine just so I could have my DX7 in my hands more often.I got the BNF version.

IMHO,these MCX's are great, but keep in mind i don't have any experience w/any other co-axel. but the MCX is the bomb i love it and i can use it w/my DX6i or DX7 TX's

Those 130 tenergys are great in the MCx or any tiny aircraft.
My inside cat decided to take The MCx out of the air last night with one of his NBA style jumps. A good 7ft. off the floor. First broken part. MCx head snapped. Paws of steel. ;D
Happy landings

well I think I might have to order me one this weekend. Does anyone know where I can get the best deal? I see helihobby has them with free bees. Free stuff is always good. ;D
