Ok, Ranben, it's probably partly my fault, if I recommended that motor and servos. I don't remember. Yes it had great reviews. But I'm guessing that I just got a bad one. It happens. There is a lot of wire inside that motor! I could just pull it apart, too. Pulled the whole outer rotating body off the motor. That was odd. The Alpha doesn't do that. Did I recommend the SG90's? Ugh. You might be Ok, if you do the static boom mod, and I could send you four spares for free. But that's a moot point if any of them fail. Argh. I hate having tried to do a super cheap build with super cheap crap that doesn't work. Kent Kent, I think it was just a fluke that we both ordered that motor and as far as the servo's, I was getting all kinds of suggestions so dont know where that idea came from. No blame on anyone.

I'd read on some forum that having the package marked as GIFT will beat customs time down a little. Not sure if it works but worth a try if the shipper will do it.

Yeah I had a metal rotor hub set from Miracle Mart that took about 16 days I think. A lot more than the 6-7 they quote on their site. I think customs must have had it. It's broken already though so not sure if the shaft is very good quality . The tracking thing they give you is next to useless other than saying it has left HK. It said that right up until the day it turned up on the doorstep!

I dont think the problem is in China. I think it is in the USPS system. Probably a lot to do with Home Land Security I imagine. Dont think I will be buying much out of the US unless it is something I dont really have to have right away.

I order from the stores on EBAY and the majority are in China. This usually takes from, according to one seller, 5-22 days. You have to expect this when ordering from Hong Kong. You give up speedy delivery for a reasonable price..

Got my first Hobby city (King) shipment in 13 days here in the midwest. Came bound in plastic string. lol. Looked like some pictures I'd seen of packages from a very, very long time ago. It was marked "toys" and had a declared value of approximately 1/3 of what I paid.
Happy landings

;D just got a call from the wife, "did you order something from CHINA", guess that tracking stuff is not very accurate, still shows to be in San Fransico customs. May have some Xplainin' to do when I get home. ;D Not as bad as I was thinking, from the earlier replies, 10 days order to delivery, standard air. keep your antenea up.....

OK.......its been 19 days since my order left China. Still no delivery. The funny thing is that when I contacted Hobby City, they pretty much told me not to ask for a tracking location until the 39th day. USPS has received it........now showing that it is located in New York for 4 days straight. Maybe I should have went and picked it up myself in China.....
