Good catch, Fergie!
That could have been nasty if the gear rubbed more!
I just checked my Squadron (uses same parts there) and it's Ok still, but I think I'll go ahead and do that fix sooner than later.
Thanks! Kent

ya, i deleted it. i'm so sorry, i just been going through some personal crap right now. i don't really want to bring it down on the forum (that was idiotic of me i know) i found out that i'm unemployed now i worked for fleetwood rv and they shut down the rv division down permanently i worked my a$$ off for these guys. i worked my way up to designing trailers for them. 15 years i put in for these F*#ckers (and i'm not the only one who feels this way). no warning at all. i wasn't thinking. please forgive me. and a apology is in order for elkmaster (i hope he reads this) i got pissed at him for no reason, when he was obviously joking around. i'm sorry elk. if you want kent i can repost, but better this time. i kind of felt it was an idiotic presentation. again guys my deepest apology's

Wow Fergie!!! I'm so sorry to hear that...
It was not a bad post. In fact it was very well presented and would be very helpful to any Squadron/BlueRay owner.
Man, I sure hope things work out for you.
I own a Fleetwood Terra motorhome. That's amazing that Fleetwood is going out of the RV business. They were pretty much the biggest around.
I wish you the best, Kent

I wish you the best, Kent thank you, kent, but the motorhomes & manufactered homes are still going. it's just the pull trailers & 5th wheel trailers are done. BLOOD SWEAT & TEARS into that place, and it all seems like it was for nothing. my job was the only of it's kind where i live. so i might have to take some POS job to get by.

They are up there somewhere, aren't they? I'm sure the whole industry is taking a hit. I've worked on a lot of the RV's all the way up the the Prevost entertainer buses. Since I'm always working on the transmission, I get to view the sh/tty side first, though. ;D Sorry to hear about this. I can empathize.

FU@CKIN RECESSION!! Yeap. I haven't heard from anyone at Foretravel lately. I'll bet they are at a screaching halt too. Are you an engineer? I will forgive you if you are. I have built up my immunity by multiple exposures over a long period of time. I now can be around multiple engineers for days without the rash ;D

Hey Fergie: You mentioned doing design work on the 5th wheels and trailers. I would recommend that you get with Fleetwood's motorhome design group. They could definitely use some help!!
The 5th wheels and trailers have 10 times better designs than ANY of their motorhomes. There should be no reason for that.
Anyway, since you have been with them forever, you should automatically have some seniority in other sections of the company.
Good luck. Kent

that's the part that sucks kent, they said absolutely" NO TRANSFERS TO OTHER PLANTS" i know it sucks. i guess thats just the way it goes. cause i'm damn good at what i do. i even built my own PC for the job (which i got to take home) so i could draw and chat at the same time. seniority dosen't mean crap at this point and time. at least i have an extra PC, LOL ;D
