I could but I dont need to the tail never drags even when you come in backwards because the 53#8 tailboom is somewhat flat coming out of its mount and mine kicks up so there is enough clearance. Ray

I sure could not tell that from the pictures - i looks like the tail would have the rear of the skid off of the ground ;D = VIC

Sorry my pictures were not better in that regard, low.
The tail indeed looks up in the rear. There is considerable tail fin clearance when the skids are on the ground.
You won't be hitting the tailfin with any kind of normal takeoff! Kent

MY tail fin is correct - go look up the walkera 53#8 in flight or on the ground ;D = VIC

I repaired one a 53#8 for a guy and the tail was indeed upside down right out of the factory on that one as well it wasen't when it left my place I flipped it around. Ray
