Make sure the throttle trim is all the way down on the Tx.

Looks to me like it is new motor time the brushes are either broken or worn out which is y when you give it a spin it will run a little bit Course I could be all wet and you have a brush less motor in it then I would look for a weak solder joint

I would agree with Phil. If that's the original brushed motor, they didn't last very long. Upgrading to brushless is usually the first thing HBK2 owners do to their heli.

It sounds like it is running pretty rough I would also agree new motor time maybe think about going brushless if it is not. If it is then it is single phasing one lead broken very hard on the motor and ESC. But by the way it sounds and the way it is running I would say it is a brushed motor those things are dead they just have not buried them yet... Ray

My HBK 3 is in pieces on my work bench, if you want the motor and esc (both work fine), let me know. $10 shipped. They are the stock brushless Esky motor and 25a esc that come with the King 3.

yeah it's the original motor ill have to upgrade to brushless, just wondering if it matters what size you go?
