That's looking GREAT Fergie!!!! I have never seen a Blade apart before. It sure is a different design. Cool! It sure looks like you have some really nice upgrade parts, too. Best, Kent thanx alot kent, yea these micro heli (cnc ) parts are expensive but i have to say totally worth it as far as quality goes, really top notch stuff. also kent i have been eyeballin your 500 t-rex thread, very cool, i'm excited for ya. keep up the good work kent ;D

A good start, fergie. It'll be a beaut with all the MicroHeli CNC upgrades. Keep up the progress reports.

thanx sol, i can't wait to get this bird in the air. i'll definately keep you guys posted on the progress. i've flown my buddys blade 400 w/the micro heli upgrades and i prefer it over my blue ray, but the more align parts i put on my blue ray the better it gets. so the blue rays getting there quality wise. ;D

i added a tail gear assembly today and for those of you wondering here's a open frame shot here's the tail gear assembly installed i also installed a cnc motor mount

ohh and by the way i put a little drop of CA on the outer bearing races, i didn't want to chance the bearing spinning into the plastic ;D

not alot of progress but here is how it sits now. i'm going to order the micro heli tail rotor assembly next week. then it will be complete minus electronics. no i'm not using these servos. i just threw them in there to get linkage set up, and also these blades are toast, not flyable. i just wanted to get an idea of how free things spin. very nice BTW ;D

I've never messed with a Blade 400 before. Are you going to have to split the frame again to put in the tail belt

i like the push/pull design. but it seems like there's just a little more parts to damage in a crash.

i finally, got the last micro heli part for the main rotor assembly on this thing... the hiller control levers and here they are installed so this is everything micro heli has to offer on the head unit on the blade 400 i'm still waiting on my tail rotor assembly
