Andy is still there. He responded super fast to my ESC issue. Still haven't seen the replacement, though. No hurry. I'm just going to put in ebay ;D

Akent, I am beginning to believe you are right about Exceed stuff. First my programming card and ESC smoked. Then I find this on my motor wire on the Alpha 400. The wire is tinned, and the socket is filled with solder, but it looks like they were only touching. I ran this motor up a couple of times for the heluvit before it went dead. Looks like they need a Chinese interpretation of the Finless soldering videos ;D Its not just Exceed BT. I had the exact same thing happen to a new motor for my plane.

If this bird falls from the sky, it should be from operator error, not quality issues (although it would be nice to be able to blame it on someone besides me );D

I always blame someone or something other than me. ;D Couldn't possibly be my fault. Now, let's keep some integrety in the hobby. You need to be honest about your mistakes. To help out, I'll make the first effort..... From now on, when I crash........I will blame you ;D

I usually like to blame the wind and those damn magnetic trees, or at least magnetic for my helis. Those magnetic houses too. It seems that mother nature is always a good one to blame. Of course, if I didn't bring the heli out in those conditions it wouldn't allow mother nature to mess with me like that. I have had several seemingly calm days turn windy just when I get by HBFP or Blade CP in the air. Amazing how the 400 and 450 size handle it though. Those one's usually get sucked into the trees.

I can understand what you're saying. A magnet lasts about 70 or 80 years unless outside forces act against it.Heat being the worst of the culprits. Xheli selling returned merchandise? I am ABSOLUTELY AND BEYOND ANY DOUBT sure that I was sold used and wrecked parts as "New". Who is buying from Walkera? They shut me off a year ago. Kim Xiau worked with me for a long time but insisted I make bigger orders to continue. Nope.Align seems to want my money and always go out of their way to get it. I am happy to oblidge. Sorry if I spelled that wrong.Don't think I have ever used the word before or even read it in a sentence. Is it safe for me to understand from this post that you buy from Align direct???
