Whoa! You're not kidding about the freight charges. It showed $26 for regular mail and $96 for UPS 2 day. I received an email from HOOOBBY.COM tonight. They advertise their business as being in New Jersey, but they ship from China. That concerns me a little. Kinda like me selling on line, then ordering from Hobby City and having them ship to the customer. That explains the high shipping charge. 1/2 Probably actual shipping, 1/2 is probably the profit for them. BEWARE !!! I dont know if this is the case with all items or not. I was looking at a LUCK tool kit.

sounds like i need to buy one asap, and the whole shipping thing is what some places do to make up extra cost on low cost items. and those kinds of places need to be posted about so others know about their practices. i see that same thing alot on ebay, saw a guy once selling a 4ch heli for like 50 bucks but he had 50 bucks in shipping attached to it, when the dang heli only costs like 15 to ship anywhere in the us. i reported him but Ebay doesnt give a rats ass it seems cause everyone one of his 20 auctions had the same kinda thing on the shipping, the buy it now price which was great was jacked by the shipping, brining the heli with shipping to normal cost anywhere else ie xheli.

when the thunder t6 and ac6 were out of stock i looked at a few chargers that had the 12 volt lead wired in / no plug - to operate in the house you had to have a ( regulated power supply ) another 50 bucks - not worth it ;D = VIC

Get one from Hobbypartz.com for $55 and only $4.95 shipping. I just got one of the Thunder chargers and also a blue 2200Mah 11.1v 20C battery for $29. Not liking the fact that they are affiliated with xheli, but sh#t happens I guess. They have been in stock for a while and seem to move less product than xheli. They also shipped a couple hours after I bought it which was nice. Maybe they have different people working in their shipping department then xheli as they are far too efficient!! ;D. Check it out, they are still in stock, I just looked. www.hobbypartz.com/thac6smbachw.html

the manual is loaded with info - if you watch the video at xheli on the charger it makes it easy to use the basic setup - battery gets full beeps/tone and stops chargeing - flashes full - i charged 3 batterys and did not know it would shut off ;D = VIC

I don't recall the specifics, but a few ac6 owners had problems with the units not working and/or charging leads and connectors. Sorry, don't remember the details.
Happy landings

I have had an Imax B5 for a while now and it works great.
When I ordered my EXI kit I ordered one of the Thunder T6 chagers too. Order came today and when I opened the box they had shipped the AC6 instead. If they keep that up that 500 is really not going to last very long.

They are bad about shipping whatever they want to in place of what you order. They have done me that way on blades before. At least they sent you a higher priced item (if they didnt charge a higher price)........LOL Soooooo.........what did you think of the EXI ?

Looks really nice, but I think I have a screw missing from the frame. The front left screw just above where the servo would go. Please tell me that yours was not intalled either and that it is somewhere in one of those bags of screws.

The only ones that were not installed in mine were the two on the bottom rear of the frame where the boom supports mount. BTW, I followed Kent's lead on this and got the Trex hardware set and replaced almost all the phillips head screws with allen head ones.
