This is a video of a modified Exceed Falcon 40 using an 11.1volt 1,000Mah 10c LIPO battery. The Rx won't burnout and the heli flys like its on Steroids. Goto: www.rtf-heli.com/Falcon40mod.html for how to do this. -Happy Flying !!!

It's a work in progress. Like Doozer, the heli doesn't like the orginal heli anymore.

Very nice looking heli, and some nice flying. I'm thinking I'm going to try your metal hub. The xtreme metal hub is just too proprietary for me. The large bolt just makes it tough to use the any shaft with extra length. Drilling a hole in a shaft is like trying to stack BB's. Superskids always make these things look beefier.
Nice job!

Thanks Doozer. I just want everyone to know that I just got kicked off the RCdiscuss.com forum because I placed a link other than www.xheli.com. They have IP banned me. So, I guess I will endeavor to help users on this forum. Dave S. (AKA Serial Griller) who started this forum because of censorship also has been warned about placing his link to this forum. And in fact, RCdiscuss.com has erased all his links in his messages referencing this forum. What RTF says is true. The bad thing is that RTF can't get back in at www.rcdiscuss.com and share his knowledge. The good thing is that we now have him all to ourselves ;D
Whatever you do don't mention RC Heli Talk there if you want to stay. As of this writing I can still get in and plan to be a good boy there.
Because of this I will understand if some of you want to cut and run and if this is what you decide to do and you want to return here you will always be welcome here at RC Heli Talk cause you are the reason I started this. Dave

I added RTFheli's 11.1 mod to my Falcon last week. It rips now. Before it couldn't get out of it's own way due to my extreme altitude and extra weight of my training gear. So, with a few bad xheli issues myself. I will follow to a forum that will allow me to upgrade my heli, even if it is someone else's web site mentioned. I would and could understand if they even carried an upgrade, But they don't. If it were not for the great help of RTF. I would likely have quit this entire hobby. Thus, Xheli will no longer be the supplier of my head cores(lol). Once the four I have are all broken. RTF's metal core will be bought. Thus removing myself from a company who WILL leave people such as myself literally stuck to the ground in the future. Thanks www.RTFheli.com. If you have a falcon... BUY THIS UPGRADE!! lol

Got a quick question for you RTF. I really like the design of the metal Walkera head. Is it possible to use it on a HBFP if I use a Walkera mainshaft? Is it 3mm like the HB? Length isn't an issue as long as it is a least 75mm long.
Thanks man ;D - Love the new forum

I'm no pro Mtnmole, but the issue with the HBFP metal head by Xtreame fitting on the falcon is that the shaft is shorter on the HBFP then the falcon. Not by much but shorter by enough that you need to drill the hole out on the falcons shaft and discard the Xtreame HB shaft. So although I can't tell you the number of extra mm on the falcon. If extra isn't an issue I'd guess it would work. I would still wait on RTF though. Like I said I'm no pro. I'd like to hear the same answer about his falcon core mixed with the other Xtreame HBFP parts on my falcon or if the parts your asking about fit on my falcon.

Hey rtf, what else are you going to add for mods on your website. I just don't want to buy anything and then have to pay again for shipping. Also do you have any specific date for when you will show the brushless mods on your website, im dying to see them already.
KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK

I have already tried it. The X-treme metal head, the X-treme metal paddle, and the X-treme metal swashplate will work on the Exceed Falcon 40. The only thing you need to buy is the Ring like push rod as the mounting holes are bigger on the E-Sky HBFP. When you put them on its a little tight. You need to stretch the ring like push rods until loose. Works well with the metal rotor head core that I am selling. With the x-treme rotor head core you will be required you to drill a hole in your exsiting shaft as the included shaft is too short for a Exceed Falcon 40. The metal core that I am selling uses a grub screw that fits over your exisitng shaft. No drilling required, just the 2mm allen key that came with the heli. With regards to new products. Everyone has been asking. So I will be adding a brushless conversion kit comming late February. Currently been testing different brushless motors. Check for the scrolling messages at www.rtf-heli.com-Happy Flying !!!

Great stuff RTF!!!
I'm glad you are over here!!
To heck with those other people. Xheli will not get my business either, unless they have something noone else does. And that is not likely. Kent

I am keen for the motor upgrade set RTF. Will probably do the 370 brushed and 11.1v upgrade for now though. Figured that I dont want to put too much into the HB considering I am building a nice T-REX set-up. Just want to have the HB for learning more and getting more adventurous on before doing it on the T-REX. Much cheaper to crash and fix! Will likely just put a metal head and the motor upgrade then leave the HB alone after that.
