Got home today and got out the G2. Started out pretty good but it very quickly started loosing power. I thought maybe I had forgot to charge that battery so I put in another one. Same thing, no power. I pulled off the canopy and the stock brushed motor was so hot you couldn't touch it. Well, I had the brushless motor and 30 amp ESC that I was going to put on the EXI when it gets here (tomorrow hopefully) so I thought "I'll just stick it on the G2 for now and change it out later." Took me maybe 45 minutes to solder on the bullet connectors and deans, program the ESC, and install the new motor. All I can say is WOW!!! What a difference. I spooled up real slow and and when I got to the point where it should be about to lift off I shot a little more throttle to it like I had been doing with the brushed motor and the thing shot up like a rocket. Scared me a little...okay, a lot. This thing has sooo much more power it is not even funny. It is much quieter also. The only experience I had had with brushless motors was on my planes which are relatively low KV motors and they have always been brushless so I really had nothing to compare it to. Needless to say...no way is that motor coming back off the G2. I'll get another one for the EXI. I wanted to get a 40 amp ESC for the EXI anyway. ;D

Quite the transformation. Clark Kent turns into Superman. Told ya! ;D
You might want to tone down the curves a bit or just drop the inner shaft a smidge if it's too radical like it is.
You'll need to anticipate directional changes a bit earlier 'cause it's still not going to turn on a dime.
Get those 1750's yet?
Happy landings

I was thinking I may need to tone down the curves a little. Just to smooth it out some. With the higher head speed the pitch seems very "twitchy" now. The difference between 3' and 20' is only a very small movement of the stick.
Yep, got the 1750's last Friday. Funny thing is, they came all the way from China/Hong Kong in the same amount of time it took you know who get my blade grips here. I placed the orders at the same time.

Do the 1750's fit in battery tray? I haven't ordered mine yet.
