Okay, I have Clearview and have been using my HBFP TX with it. Is there any advantage to buying the cable for my Futaba TX? Will it allow me to do more realistic 3D?

I am not sure about the Futaba but the with the Spektrum radio you can use all the program features (Expos, dual rates, etc...) for use on the sim. IMO it would be a good way to play with the Tx and figure out all the bells a whistles.

My DX7 makes the Clearview sim almost too easy to fly. I have upgraded to a Phoenix sim for a more reallistic flying feel with the DX7.

I have ZERO experience with a real TX, idle up, throttle hold, dual rate, etc. If this Futaba will do what the Spektrum will, I'll probably buy the cable. He//, it's only about $15...BUT I am one tight fisted bastar* sometimes. Something about a past divorce, inherited CC bills too big to pay, etc. will do that to you ;D ;D

I learned math with my divorse. Half of $13,700 is $3,400. My half anyway.lol...That was my checking account at the time. It has never gotten over a couple grand since. I figure, what's the point of money if not to enjoy it ;D
